A little update on this beast. 25,000 miles on the clock and it's still impressing me. However today I'd like to post about cheap shit found on ebay. Specifically those painted/chrome door handle covers. Normally I look past these novelties and I've been looking for replacement handles to get rid of the ugly textured ones I have. However amazon had a listing for the same black painted stick on covers that ebay had listed and it was filled with good reviews. So for $32 with shipping I ordered a set in black and just put them on. Being that they are glued on with 3m two side tape I trust they will stay on. And the fit, finish and feel is much better then I expected. Here are some pics and I'll report back if they are still there in a few miles

Another b.s. cosmetic change I made was I purchased second hand a cci snap on grille. I plasti dipped it in black to break up all the chrome. Thankfully it was cheap because the fit isn't what I had hoped. But for $50 versus $300 for a secondhand grille it'll serve it's purpose

Bump for a lil pic whoring, I purchased the Rough Country 2" front level from crooks and am waiting for the current tires to give out, and then I'll throw that one and will more than likely use 265/70/18 tires, they measure out at 32.66" and aren't a full load E so I can keep the MPGs up and it'll still be fairly easy for my 5'04'' wife to get the kid in and out of the backseat.

Truck did a best of 30mpg on the highway for brief stint going on a weekend away in the dells a few months back, otherwise I've settled into 18 around town and 27 highway. My daily commute is 18 miles of backroad and I'd call it more combined and it stays at 20 mpg. Only regret so far is paying for it.

I've hauled about 2,000lbs in the bes and I had minimal sag and it felt fine. I've flat towed the wife's grand am on a dolly and I held 18.5 mpgs2 cycling 4cyl mode for about 100 miles. Overall very happy with
Nice. V6's have come along way. Same power as my turd 5.3 and much better mpg

Should do it without issues. My turd pulled that heavy ass trailer and car at 75mph all the way back up to 5,800ft.

Guessing a camper is far lighter though maybe a bit more wobbly with high winds. Sway control would help if it was a problem (wouldn't bother unless you noticed an issue)

I bought some mirrors. I went aftermarket and retained power and heated features, I wasn't justiying $150 plus more expensive mirrors to add the turn signal option, I simply couldn't stand how small and useless the Stock mirrors were, I think gm figured the back up camera made up for not needing mirrors, either way 1 aauto aftermsrket for $140 shipped. Drilled the 4th hole and haven't noticed any shaking in the round the block test course.

I still have the rc 2" level to install but I'm thinking of just holding off until I need tires next fall. We will see how bored I get.

took some photos of this turd the other day in some down time. truck currently sits with a little over 40k on it. Also bought the rear lift blocks that are currently on the shelf next to the front level kit. I will bolt it all on this spring. still deciding between 265/70/18 and 275/70/18 for tires. I also added led headlights and fog lights. I will need to aim them down a tad but they are bright and very clear for halogen housings
