The on-again/off-again Bad Boys 3 is back on again, as Sony just gave the greenlight to the Will Smith/Martin Lawrence sequel. The plan now is to release the film, titled Bad Boys for Life, in 2020. Smith has officially signed on, while Lawrence is still hammering out details of his deal. We’ve been here before, but for now, let’s all assume Bad Boys 3 is on track, shall we?
Will Smith took to Instagram to share a brand new behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Sony Pictures’ upcoming Bad Boys for Life as production officially wraps for the action comedy threequel. Featuring Smith along with Martin Lawrence, you can check out the full photo below.
The new installment centers on the Miami PD and its elite AMMO team’s attempt to take down Armando Armas, head of a drug cartel. Armando is a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature. He is committed to the work of the cartel and is dispatched by his mother to kill Mike Lowery will take on the role of Rite, the tough and funny criminal psychologist who is the newly appointed head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend- and the one who got away.
