Yeah, I was sort of thinking that's a ton of money for Jimmy G., but the games he's been in, he's been fantastic. THAT good? No way. But, if the 49er's feel he's their franchise QB, they had almost no choice but to give him stupid amounts of money.

Bears and Ravens have been selected to play in the Hall of Fame game Aug. 2nd. Bears have a 4-0 record for this meaningless game. Ray Lewis and Urlacher will be inductees into the HOF this year.

Teams are starting to release info on which players will be traded/cut.

Bears, not surprisingly, won't be keeping QB Glennon. Guy made $4 mil for every game he started/lost. They won't pay him $15 mil to be a back up.

Denver is supposed to trade/release C.J. Anderson. Word is they want Devontae Booker to be their guy. Anderson is only 27 and had a 1,000 yd season last year so he will hook up somewhere.

BOLD prediction: Anderson to Green Bay with Ty Montgomery going back to WR.

Jets finally getting rid of Muhammad Wilkerson? Looks like the DE's locker room antics may catch up with him.

Bears are going to cut Glennon, Sims, Wheaton, maybe Kendall Wright, and maybe Sitton

A ton of cap space could open up with cutting all of them. I will say, Pace does throw out these ridiculously priced contracts, but he's good about having outs and mitigating loses.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bears cut Pernell McFee, too. Too much money and injured too often.
