EcoDiesel tow ratings vs the Hemi ratings.

I'm thinking Ford is going to use the diesel more for economy and give up some towing capacity

I'm thinking they're going to keep pushing the EcoBoost as the best towing option in the 1/2 ton market, as it currently is (power-wise; economy wise...not so much)

12k is a lot until you realize how "little" it takes to get there. S650 bobcat on my 16k GVW trailer is right around there. That's a pretty common load for me so that's kind of my benchmark for a "usable" vehicle.

a 12k lb boat & trailer setup is a pretty solid boat to be towing...
