Powered thru this on friday and saturday. It was pretty good, if not a TAD bit long. 8 episodes at almost an hour each. It did prompt me to look up the real Charles Sobhraj, and good god.....this was....a bad man. I'm surprised I've never heard of him until now. What's worse than what he did to the people he killed is what he did to the people he kept closest to him. If you don't know anything about him, it does kinda help to do a little reading before you watch this. They could seriously do a 2nd part to this story about his time in prison because that's just as crazy.

The dude the played Charles was great. And this really could've been more a story of the dutch embassy worker that eventually took him down. This guy wasnt an investigator or in law enforcement, but what he did to finally get this guy put away was impressive.

If you like true crime TV, you should see this. I'll tell you based on the articles I've read the series is pretty accurate.
