Sport touring, and they're easy to boost and run at the drag strip with minimal modification. They're not exactly canyon carvers, but in the right hands can usually do better than average. However it's pretty rare to seem them on any kind of a track beyond the drag strip.
Also, same kind of person that would get a Kawasaki ZX-14R. Asphalt rippling power with an insane top speed paired with all-day cruising comfort that doesn't cost $20k.
