Definitely thinking of taking the bike out on lunch to go run some errands lol.
I need to go pick up my truck from the shop and have my car looked at while there, otherwise I'd take the bike to go get it. Well, would bring the g/f along so she could drive the truck back while I rode.

In hindsight I should have thrown the sport bike in the back of the truck when I went to drop it off then rode home. I could then ride back and load it up. Oh well, it's only 20-25 minutes away, so a lot of work for a short ride down a mostly-straight IL 64.

I rode my cruiser once since getting new tires and putting on new brakes three weeks ago. It was to my mom's and back, a total of about 12 miles. So badly wanted to go out this past weekend.

I'm hoping the chance of rain clears out for this weekend:

I've just been busy with other stuff, and the weather wasn't the greatest either.

I feel you. I feel like I've ridden so much less this year compared to last.

So, i was thinking of pulling the trigger on another harley. I started doing some research and a friend of mine just bought a indian motorcycle (Scout Bobber). Anyone have any familiarity to indian in general? Are they good? figure i might check out the competition.

I almost bought one of these before I got my Fat Bob. Love the way the scout bobber looks. I rode one at a demo and it was cool, but felt I did not fit on it well. The blue one you posted is one of my favorite colors on them. Chester Copperpot Chester Copperpot had one for a while.

I think Indian is lacking a bit in the fit and finish and build quality compared to Harley. They arent any cheaper but dont seem quite as well designed. Just my.02 from demo rides. I dont own either.

I haven't gotten close enough to one to get a good look at build quality, nor do I know anyone that has one. However that blue is fantastic looking. Not really liking the mufflers though, the size and the way they brought the front cylinder's back up. Granted I know it is for cornering clearance. Just never grew on me.

Well I paid my bike off, and I think I am going to list it up and see what happens. I think I am too late for this season, but ya never know. If it doesn't sell I wont be all that upset. If anyone wants a nice Yamaha cruiser I got one for ya :D

List it! Sold my Fat Bob a few weeks ago in 2 days, and have a sale pending on my Aprilia. The used bike market is pretty hot right now. Dealers have low inventory on new bikes and are paying top dollar for used and trade ins.

Mine had a wicked tick that would not go away. They use some chunky 15w60 too.

They're all junk. Which junk do you prefer more.

I was planning on going this year but we decided to hold off. Would have gone this week though, the week before. Not really interested in participating in the actual shit show.....lol

We were in that area four years ago this week, on vacation. Had to stop in town for a car wash after taking like 20 miles of dirt roads at The Badlands. Was already getting busy.

Welp, its listed now. My neighbor posted it for me since he pretty much just buys and sells shit. So I guess its listed in a lot of places? We'll see how it goes. I have the price high right now just because. I figured once I have the title in my hand I will drop it to try and move it before winter. If not, Ill just hold onto it and re-evaluate in spring.

P.S. I would make a pretty good deal for anyone off of here, just saying.
