Got in about 165 miles today. That wind was something else. I’ve ridden in windy conditions before, but not that high of wind for that long.

Forgot to start tracking when I left the house.

I was in Sheridan today between 3&4 at the Sheridan Elevator. The wind was certainly brutal going there and back. It was either blowing more leaves off the road, or onto it...

Got out on Sunday for a 300 mile day to Galena and Savanna and back. That wind was no joke.

If the weather cooperates this coming weekend I was thinking about running the 600 out that direction. Was going ride Blackjack Rd and Stagecoach Trail again. IIRC Blackjack wasn't too forgiving on bikes with a stiff suspension.

Which route did you take out there?

Let me know if you can open the link below, its actually the route we rode once we were out there. We took 20 all the way to the Stagecoach Trail lol.

Blackjack wasn't too bad on my Tuono.

Yes! Nice job on using the GPS coordinates for waypoints.

A few years ago I did 88 out to 52 and into Savanna, with the intent to run south-to-north on the Scenic Ridge Rd, but missed the turn. Ended up going up 84 to Hanover, then east on Hanover Rd back to Scenic Ridge and ran the road north to south. Turned out to be a good mistake because there was no traffic going that direction, it was all coming north. Cars, RV's, RV's pulling trailers, trucks pulling campers. Would have been teeth-gnashing trying to get around all of that.

Did that back to 84, got some ice cream at Shivers, ran across the bridge to Iowa, back to 84, then north back to Hanover and Blackjack Rd. That beat the snot out of me, as my 600 was still set up for the track. Once into Galena we caught Stagecoach and went to Scales Mound. From there we were trying to decide which way to come back, as we knew 20 would be full of traffic.

Took Elizabeth Scales Mound Rd south to 20, then east to 78. Came south down 78 through Mt. Carroll and then caught 40. Took that all the way into Sterling/Rock Falls and hopped on 88 to come back.

My day was just over 410 miles. I think I have it recorded, somewhere. I used to use an Android app called SportsTrackLive, but they shut the app down. Not sure if I saved a screen cap of the route.

Blackjack sucks! Road is rough and bumpy and slathered in gravel. Never rode Stagecoach...Derinda Rd/Scenic Ridge Rd is a nice road that tales you from Rt20 into Savanna.

Well, seeing as how I don't have a fond memory of running Blackjack on the sport bike I think I can skip that one.

Stagecoach is fun from Galena out to Scales Mound. Have to deal with traffic though. Once you get east of Elizabeth Scales Mound Rd it's pretty straight and boring.

Problem is getting out to that area, and then getting back. For me it's a solid two hours to just get to a starting point.

Hey guys. I have a buddy whose trying to sell is bike. He went to a few HD dealers to see what they would give and its all pretty low (to him) offers. He tried a few of those online places below and they actually gave him a pretty decent offer. Roughly 2500 over what the dealers would give. Anybody use either of these or know anything about them? Are they legit?

2020 HD forty-eight with 1000k miles.
