Indian Uprising Canceled for 2020

Due to Pheasant Run not selling the hotel and closing no Uprising this year. I already paid for a indoor spot but, held off renting a room. Really sucks, was a great weekend last year.

You mean, they sold. That was news about two weeks ago.

They couild just hold it at Elfstrom Stadium like they had in the past until they moved to Pheasant Run.

Sorry, I had heard they sold. Going and reading up on it, I guess the $6M bid wasn't enough.

Hotel failed to reach reserve with a high online bid of 6 million. They owe 28 million. Mega center was sold separately this week.

I'll be honest. Other than having a hotel attached, I think there are better venues anyway. Those of us that park outside, that lot is shit.

On a side note, I hated delivering 'Za's there. The only hotel in the area that would pretty much tackle you if you went past the front desk. Every other one in the area knew you were a delivery guy and you could just go right up to the room.

Bummer, been to a few Uprisings.

I also stayed there for my sister's wedding.

Last year was my first inside. The year before was the first they allowed canopies on the lot. Year before we had to put the canopy up by the golf course and the smell from the dumpster was sickening.
Moving inside a getting a room was excellent for me last year. Being able to stay late and sleep in Saturday and Sunday was great. Not having to do more than a quick dust every day was for the win. And being able to stay close to the car without baking in the sun was the way to go for me.
