For Sale: 2011 BMW 528i

2011 rear wheel drive 528i

128,xxx miles.

i searched for quite some time for one of these- it's a car/engine combo that was made only one year.
the older "mythical" N52 straight six naturally aspirated engine, in the "newer" body 5- series. Yeah, that engine, the one that won a bunch of awards for decades on end? loves to rev out, idles silently, and makes it fun to drive.

white/tan leather interior. heated wheel & front/rear seats. no factory nav so you don't have to worry about updating some ancient system with roads & maps from nearly a decade ago... bluetooth for streaming music & making calls... phonebook shows up in the main screen like it should. remote trunk open, led lights in the door handles, projector headlights. etc.

the little "over thoughts" really make me appreciate this car- hold the lock button the mirrors fold in and windows/sunroof closes if you left them open. hold unlock the windows/sunroof open until you let off the button... all auto up/down windows from the driver seat.. .have to hold a switch? nah, aint nobody got time for that.

a silly one? 12v cigarette lighter ports EVERYWHERE, i think i am still finding some to this day.

i pruchased this to keep miles off of/get way better MPG than my old, one ton crew cab, gas powered truck. my old truck got 10-12... my new truck now gets 17-20... the money side of keeping this doesn't make as much sense anymore.

I just replaced the valve cover gasket about a month and a half ago with all OEM BMW components- common thing for these. gasket is now replaced and car is running great.

front and rear bumper have some small scratches/chips etc, i will highlight those in photos so we are all on the same page

few ways to buy.

1. Wheels in pics, snow wheels/tires & stock wheels tires - $9,000 - so yes, 3 sets of wheels tires.

2. On stock wheels/tires without extras. - $7,500 (just buy the whole package... the stock wheels are boring AF)

I just don’t trust BMW’s for the mileage I plan on putting on. It’s a gorgeous car but I’m trying to go 300k on the Lex

it of course already sold but i would definitely believe an N52/bmw straight six naturally aspirated motor/zf trans would have no issues going 300k with normal maintenance.

2006 325i

Just passed the 300,000 mile mark. A small oil leak has started somewhere, but it's not so bad as it needs to be topped off before 5,000 mile service.

Adaptive cruise control is not working, which takes out all the cruise control functions.

Passenger restraint system light is on - my car was not covered under the recall to fix this.

Adaptive headlight control module drowned in a water leak, and the headlight assembly is starting to rattle. Original bulbs are still functioning, just pointed straight ahead with no swivel.
