This is what I'm thinking for the lights.

Added safety cables and the 7 pin with electrical box.

The parking brakes were a pita to get the existing handles to work. They work and are adjustable but I'm not super happy with how it came out... but they work and for now that's good!

Upgraded the connection on the Montero as well. Yeah I know it's not centered but options were limited on the SUV. Trucks with step bumpers have it made. It'll work.

Also tested the tongue jack in the grass and the 8" wheel rolls pretty well so that's a solid plus!

And wiring is fun!!!

Wiring is all mocked up. Lights work, brakes work, breakaway switch works... i even added a license plate light. I just need to loom the wires, tuck them up and secure them. I found the frame was a not a solid ground so I have a ground wire all the way around.

Its finally street legal again...

All the wiring is loomed and tucked up underneath. Reverse lights are wired in. Took it for a drive with the MS and it feels so much better. The diet really helped.

I also messed around with the trailer and the integrated brake controller on the Colorado and that is a thing of beauty....

It's nice to get close. Just a few loose ends and I need to find a place and some time for a test run.

I need to run it over th scales too and see what it weighs with just the things that are bolted down.
