No, we checked all that and it was fine, the ported lim that was used on a intercooled set up was cut a little large leaving a small gap, which created the leak.

Well seems like now it starts and holds at 1k, slap it in reverse and its fine, go into drive and it idles at like 15-2K, put it back in park and goes back up to like 2-2.5K... this is so odd
