I almost never do a pick up/drop off any more. Thank fuck. I loved Midway but man what a time suck and wear on vehicles.
Now everything gets parked and written off.
Bae and her friends flying out of O'Hare today. Parking for 5 days. No way was I doing a drop off/pick up..
Have her Uber 15 mins south... Lol
She's flying in with my 1yo nephew, and i haz a car seat. It's only one trip, NBD, my dad will drop them off when they fly out

I work right next to ohare and just give my wife one of the parking garage keycards. She takes the shuttle to the airport and parks for free no picking up or dropping off. I hate picking up people at ohare.

My guy with the used tire shop has an opportunity to purchase a few 53' trailers of tires from the east coast packed floor to ceiling. He is looking for 1 investor for $20k or 2 investors at $10k each. He will pay the single investor $2k a month for 12 months or the 2 investors $1k each a month for 12 months. I'm very tempted to do the $10k as its $2k free money, but over a year.
My accounting team is useless.
Customer placed order with me, and paid by credit card. I asked my accounting to add credit card payment onto the order as a deposit so when it's invoiced it shows on the invoice that it was paid. They only add the payment to the customer account. If I invoice the order it will show balance due on the invoice that we send to the customer, and this lady will flip out if I send her that.
I'd move it myself but I don't have permissions for that in the system.

Texts me last week on Friday, these people owe us money, send out some reminders so we get the money in prior to our fiscal year ending next month. So I send out those reminders at 8am this morning. I always ask him, are you sure we didnt receive it, before I fire off these emails. He reconciles any checks that get sent to his home (billing address). Anything paid ACH, I handle it. These 2 particular customers that owed us are very good at paying, so I was skeptical.
Customer #1: owed us about $8k between 5 different invoices. They respond this morning, 3 were paid in November and cleared, 1 is being paid tomorrow the 5th they never rcvd the invoice. Thats on me as I double checked and it appears I didnt send it to them.
Customer #2: Owed us almost $11k, I just got a response 10 minutes ago. Check was mailed 2/15 and cleared on 2/23. So I text my business partner and tell him. He says Oh yeah, I forgot to reconcile that one and also failed to mention it to you, SMFH
This dude needs to fucking die already. I can put my Wife on payroll and pay her what he makes and she could also take a lot of shit off my plate as far as invoicing and some other smaller things. The one thing I will give him credit for, he knows how to run an installation job if its 2 cubicles or 200 cubicles. He is very efficient when it comes to that. But I can do that shit too, I just dont have time with everything else on my plate.

I say get a PDR guy in there and fix it. Could have it fixed tomorrow vs waiting months for a massive crate to come in from Japan, if it's even available, won't know for a few days.
