Clutch was replaced 40K miles ago. Everything else is OEM. Most likely could get an inspection after the rebuild. Had a shop quote 10-11K to do it, but I could probably do the swap myself. A good low mileage engine is about 4K

To clarify, it’s crumbling because it’s a small section or because it’s too thin? If I do it, I’m not going to cut corners. It’ll be done once, & done the correct way. I already knew I was going to have a 4-6” thickness.

I don’t plan on doing the entire driveway, just the 10ft in front of the first garage. Just the crumbling portion in the photo. The rest will stay gravel.

I can do it. I’ll most likely start, swear a lot, regret a lot of life choices. Swear some more, then admire all the work afterwards. I was digging around a little bit, & the dirt isn’t that far down. I could literally peel off & break the thin layer of the driveway with my hands.
