Description
Our Customer Account Specialists work with business and residential customers in pursuit of collecting company revenues.
What you'll do as an AT&T Customer Account Specialist:
Handle collection activity which may include inquiries from customers, outside vendors, and/or internal departments regarding the outside-payment-agent system
Make decisions on applications for new telephone service; uses various mechanized systems to assist in making such decisions
Type information into various mechanized systems and records notes on bills or other forms while communicating with the customer on the telephone
May handle in-office telephone customer demands, including customer and interdepartmental negotiations and preparation of service orders
Issue service orders (in conjunction with billing inquiries)
May work on company initiated sales activities
Work to meet collection goals and deadlines
Determines appropriate call action to be taken based on risk factors (e.g., refer to collection agency)
Discuss, investigate, resolve, adjust local service and long distance billing inquiries
Position AT&T as the premier provider of choice
Perform all other duties comparable to the above as assigned
Follow established safety practices and procedures
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
In addition to possessing STRONG communications skills, our Customer Account Specialist must:
Possess basic computer and keyboarding skills
Complete on-the-job and/or classroom training as required to remain on the job
Work in a call center environment /wear a headset for extended periods of time
Obtain satisfactory results from a background/employment history investigation and drug screening
Qualify on pre-employment screenings:
Call Center Audition (CC Audition)
Customer Service Assessment: Core/Service Module
Customer Service Assessment: Collections Module
