Good/Cheap HID kit

My headlights now are 55w. I've thought about buying them but don't want to be "that guy". I haven't seen too many of my body style with HIDs to know if it's super scattered and blinding or not

Luck I guess.. Maybe some vendors just resell junk kits, IDK. You cant install them wrong.

The ballast is sensitive to weak inputs, or a bad ground,(makes it work much harder) just like a fluorescent ballast is.... I wonder if you have some issues there..... But pandas car with the 55w = bright

How do you have so many problems? I bought the first set I could find on ebay for ~$40 for the kit and never had any issues.

I did the same thing again for the burb, but I bought on amazon. Got a 55w kit for ~$60 shipped and again, no issues.

You're doing it wrong.

yeah the kit I have in my pricks was all original for 3 years up until last year when it needed a new bulb. whhhhatever.

Yes, but you wont need highs. I never use my highs anymore

That's cuz lo/hi bulbs are 1 piece in GPs. In the truck its two seperate bulbs.

If anyone lives in the sticks, I surely do. I can see quite a distance with the 55w 6ks. Matter of fact, turning on the hi beams at this point lights considerably less than the HIDs do.

I get people flashing brights at me now with the 55w low beams... I can only imagine that I'd be melting windshields if I had similar bulbs in my high beams.

People with trucks that have HID's blind the fuck out of everyone. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it a law some day to a certain headlight height can't have them.
