    I think a major point is that the guy bought the rockers for what, you had em listed for 250? which is already very low, what springs did you send? Basically you insured them for DOUBLE what was paid, just seems quite odd and no one would go out of their way to insure their stuff... then I'd be shipping stuff with 1k of insurance just to gamble that they break it

    who knows if they are broke or not, but unless teh UPS guy literally drop-kicked the box into a wheat harvester and then smashed it with a sledgehammer, there is no way those things got screwed up via shipping

    sent him the g8 springs and i told the guy there was that much insurance onn them when i shipped them he even said smart idea and he would pay for some of that too. I understand your point it looks funky but the one time i try and make sure nothing gos wrong it does. The rocker next came of the pedistal either wtf is that bullshit if that happened i assume the pushrod would be bent, i would hear the noise from the engine...anyhow i didnt ship that shit fucked up, i checked 3 times even had my mother look at them!

    Nobody is calling you a scam artist, however, the pictures are fishy. I just don't think this guy would go through all of that trouble to make up a complete lie. He did try to fix the problem before making it to the forum. Whether he is right or not, your reputation for selling parts and being reliable about it is tarnished ya know? You should have made a deal with him, done whatever it was, and kept it between you two. I know it sucks, but all the other things you want to sell are going to be harder to unload due to this thread.

    thing is though the dude stopped emailing me back for about a month, he told me to give him his money back. also those rockers worked fine in my car, i dont understand that if those were damaged like that there would be no noise, or bent pushrods. he claimed the rocker slide of the pedistal i have seen how cars run when that happend...the car was healthier than ever with them in there, torqued everything to spec...made sure 3 times. took my time.

    Yeah, but like i said, even if he's completely wrong, you now have a bad rep. Is your rep not worth a refund and just re-selling it to someone else? If it was a $2000 trans then that's a different story, but it's not. IDK, i would have just tried to work something out right away, keep that shit off the forums.

    He got called out about posting pics and has since done so, if he didnt/never did then you could just brush it off

    Ya i understand what ya mean the rep is shit on that fourm i guess who cares, but it bugs me you guys or anyone on here would think i would fuck someone over, after mine and kevins problem it aint worth any of that shit, that was compeletly my fault between kevin and I, but anyone that actually knows me I am a stand up guy. And i would have worked something out with him but i have been sent a couple messages on cgp from other guys on qccgp or whatever the canada club is saying this guy is no good and has been acting like this and trying to screw people over for a while now. ill even show u the messages lol. HE claims he is expereinced with these cars but the first couple of messages we exchanged he was asking if he needed to have special parts for these rockers and what kind of springs.....

    idk man, with those pics it's hard to say those rockers were damaged during shipping, and there's no way you can prove he did it because you have no pics. You are screwed. You need to make it right, refund his money, and show everyone that you aren't as bad as he's making you out to be. Otherwise it'll be a couple months before people forget about this and move on to another b.s. argument about something else. Maybe i'll post in a thread and the bees will start swarming. Seems to happen when i post. :dunno:

    there was another one of two pics sent but thats all he asked for i sent him like 5 so ya i guess shame on both of us. I seriously never had any problems with these things though lol i ran them for less thann 250 miles bc i had the cam sitting in the garage

    Dude dan, wow... YOU are the shipper, if they "did" get damaged in transit, which would only happen if customs uses an ice pick to go through boxes, YOU are still responsible

    after reading your last post on there, sounds like you are back to your old mindset about not giving a damn shit... stop fucking around and make it right

    I have no idea why you WOULDNT make a insurance claim if you put $600 of ins on them in the first place

    i like how you say my "old ways" as how u think you know me...you dont so stop trying to act like you do... i have tried to make this right but i cant file the claim as a shipper... i told the guy to file the claim a while back and he even said it on the fourm how he knows these werent damaged in shipping...even have proof in a text he just sent me! The car ran fine with these rockers in there... everything was torqued to spec, jturek even saw every rocker come off the engine as he did it WITH me. None of this bs saying it slide off, how the fuck is someone going to know thousands of miles away wtf happened to my car? I took each rocker off and looked at them as i wrapped them up to be shipped out they were fine. I HAVE tried to make this right, HE will not file the claim nothing more i can do, when the OP isnt willing and is making a shit shoot parade outta this. If you want the texts to prove it to u ill forward them to you!

    everytime ive ever had an issue as the seller ive had to file a claim, same with stuff ive bought the seller made the claim... maybe its different if not UPS?
