I've got a spare bedroom and bathroom in my house. I've been considering getting a roommate for a while, but really haven't found anyone that can commit to it. I live in a nice neighborhood in on the north side of Carpentersville off Algonquin Road and Route 25. Within 10 minutes of both the Fox River Grove and Barrington Metra stations. Only 2 minutes from Luke's

If anyone is looking for somewhere to live, or know someone that is (that isn't a weirdo) I'd be willing to talk to them about it. Rent would probably be somewhere around $600 a month.

It's not worth giving up my privacy for 300 bucks a month

I too have a spare room and have had one since I bought this place 4 years ago. I am in Berwyn so I would command less the $600 a month. But, I always considered it. Its just that whole privacy thing you said. Its nice knowing that not a damn thing is going to be moved or messed with if your not there. That and things won't get mysteriously broken. But damn @$600 a month that $7,200 a year which is like making $10,000 in labor. But at the moment I take a pass. I think I would only rent to a freind I knew pretty well and HE was in a pinch. It was said somewere else here women bring a little too much drama to the table.
