not true on any level....although v-power and the amoco ultimate are a cleaner fuel, running premium has nothing to do with it. always running a top-tier fuel will help with the injector problems, but the main problem is sedement in the tank/corrosion in the fuel system, that get past the sock, and fuel filter and can't pass through the tiny holes in the injectors.....
x2 most notable the varnish that collects in the rails as the heat soaked fuel chills after the engine's shutoff....i'm seeing a fairly large surge of clogged injectors especially in these new fangled returnless systems....there's way less fuel flow to flush crap back to the tank.
btw dont forget that federal laws prevent fuel companies from adding cleansing agents to only high octane rating fuel, they are required to have the same compounds in all their grades...they are all just additive packages...and a bit of marketing bs
