I remember when i was 16 and averaged 100mph on the highway.. :picard: Lucky for me I never got caught and learned my lesson through friends. After seeing what a couple of my friends went through when they got their drag racing tickets I stopped driving like a douche bag. Cept' last night, the highway was pretty empty so i kicked it up to 125 for a couple min to get the heart beating. Twas a nice day yesterday

As for getting caught though i'm usually pretty cool about it. If i get a ticket because i was speeding then so be it, but i just hate being harassed about stupid shit when it's late and they have nothing better to do. Especially if you're driving kind of a crappy car (i.e. winter beaters) cops will pull you over for the dumbest shit to check for legality.

or to check for drunks...

lol and fine? youre gonna be fine as long as you sell your car to afford the lawyer and court costs... shit whats each traffic violation cost just for court costs now? isnt it like 225 a piece? in court costs alone i betcha youll rack up a grand...

then your lawyer is gonna make sure he has it fully up your ass... along with the fine i bet you are going to receive...

it's going to be atleast $1000 in court costs
IIRC twice over the speed limit is a felony, it is in most states anyway. plus you were in a construction zone. Even without workers present, it's still considered a construction zone with a minimum fine of $375 for speeding. forget about driving for the next few years, you aren't getting out of shit. you obviously didnt learn from your last tickets.

The ONLY way I can think he can get out is if he hired a lawyer that is pretty much good friends with a lot of people in the court system. I knew some people that got away with A LOT of stuff because the lawyer would show up to court, ask the judge if he wanted to go golfing on the weekend, and the defendant just got a slap on the wrist with the court costs and that's it, when they should have probably had their license taken away.

That's basically the ONLY hope

I had to go to a police station 1 time to recieve my tickets. However it wasnt the cop that asked me to meet at the station, it was me. I didnt have my wallet on me, meaning no ID's. I told the cop I had my license at home. Long story short he let me go home to get it and then meet him at the station. Still got all the tickets he was originally going to give me, minus the no license one. I didnt c any cops on way home either. Tho this was Arlington heights police.

Panda, put on a front plate, take off the front tint, add a city sticker. I will bet that cop wont bug you anymore.

had to go to the station once....streamwood maybe? whichever one is on 19 i think...fuckers. guy pulled me over for "street racing" when i simply passed around a friends car a bit fast. 3 cop cars apparently have to be there to make sure things dont get out of hand. followed the officer back to pay my ticket (thanks sean for the money on the spot). when i was inside, the dickhead was like

"you know i was cutting you a break right?"
"a break? for what?"
"well you were street racing".
"i was street racing my friend, who was a girl, in her (cant remember what piece of shit she was driving), w/ 4 friends in my car. thank you officer."
"your welcome. be careful next time. you might not be so lucky"

:ugh: what a fuckstick

its a stupid law. I had one license plate bulb out down at school and was pulled over and had my car searched for an hour, then they let me go. It was three in the morning and I was going back to my apt after studying. Cops are All sweethearts with their bs.

Also a cop followed me into my neighborhood where he doesn't have jurisdiction and again searched my car. This time it wasn't at school. I admit I was driving kind of crazy, but it was only because I was about to shit my pants. Then this dickhead pulls me over to search me. Best part is I don't have any posession charges, no felonies, nothing, and they treat me like an ex con. These guys are pretty big asswipes.

Did you give him permission to search your vehicle?

I remember a lawyer who know all the jurisdictions and such, was kind of speeding a little bit and a cop (who was technically out of his jurisdiction) pulled him over. The lawyer told the cop that he clocked him beyond his jurisdiction, therefore, to have a good day, and he just took off. :bowrofl:
