MOTHER FUCK

Warner Bros. has removed ā€œTenetā€ from its release calendar, delivering a big blow on the exhibition industry at a time when movie theaters had hoped to peg their re-opening to the late summer debut of Christopher Nolanā€™s sci-fi thriller.

Though necessary given the mass uncertainty over when cinemas across the globe can safely reopen, the decision further complicates Hollywoodā€™s already bumpy plan to revive moviegoing. ā€œTenetā€ was originally scheduled to debut on July 17 but was pushed back twice until Aug. 12. Itā€™s unclear when it will now welcome audiences, but the studio plans to share a new release date ā€œimminently.ā€

So half of me thought this was a great action movie and the other half thought it sucked (action aside). I got most of what was going on but read a recap that filled in any blanks.....once you get the tlimeline down, the movie is less impressive. The time stuff aside, its kind of a generic "evil russian villain" movie. The big finale fell flat for me too. All the fighting was hard to follow and in the end, really made no difference.

The worst part was that this was really Nolan's worst mixed movie. The audio, mainly the explosions and effect noises were so overpowering, that the dialog was useless a lot of the time...which ended up being fine, b/c much of what was being said was somewhat useless as well. I looked it up to make sure my surround wasn't to blame, and the mix was indeed a clusterfuck.

I'm not unhappy with the movie but I'm not entirely happy with it either. I dont think this movie will stand up to masterpieces like Inception or TDK....but mileage will definitely vary. The action was indeed awesome (mostly) but the rest is mostly forgettable.

Kinda seems like Christopher Nolan wishes he was physicist, so heā€™s always thinking up ways to incorporate time changes in to his movies. It worked in the other ones (inception, memento, interstellar) but tenet was wayyyyy too far fetched
