Found this while reinstalling door wiring. No clue wtf is going on here. But my driver speaker has never worked and that's through 2 speakers and 2 different head units

2 body differences found so far. There are 3 round holes on firewall for wiring and the new gas cb had one big square one. That's not nice... Also mid cab I had to cut a hole to route a wiring harness. Diesel cab had a hole, this one did not. So weird.

I had one ground off and I turned the key and flipped the 4x4 switch and the ac compressor started locking/unlocking left signal blinking and horn was going off.


Grounds are so weird?

They are. On my old trailer the ground was the bane of my existence. It was always causing me heartache.

Oh and the God damn connector for wiper motor is different. So gotta swap that out too.

I absolutely can't stand this truck. Rushing to do all this shit was the worst. I should've left it rusty and let new cab sit under a tarp behind barn until I was ready.

But here we are, and interest is pretty much flat. I scrapped the paint job idea and am going with a cheapo raptor liner spray. I have 2 brothers that bring me their piles to work on and I finally seen the one Ford that they did. They said with an adjustable gun you can get a super smooth layer. For less than $500, yea I'm in at this point. It's tint able so I can still get lead foot grey. But this truck has been painted for 3 years! Its got a uv blocker and they just power wash the trucks, never soap or water.

I'm sold! Bro truck just officially topped out being bro

That color is great too. When trucks are black bed lined is when they look like pure garbage to me. Something subtle and smooth (in comparison) looks awesome. 3 years is probably more than enough proof of concept for UV destruction.
