I'm running out of time to get some shit done for/on the car before going back to school later this month.

I was really shooting to have the new heads done and installed before then....
I still don't have valves, and the heads have not gone to the machine shop to be ground for the larger valves yet.
Hell, I'm barely started on the porting itself. I have ONE intake port done, and have a pile of iron shavings the size of my fist
I need all the spare time I can get, and my girlfriend is working all this weekend, so spare time is something I ought to have plenty of.

that sucks mat, we have mountains of shit that needs to get done to the whore but i need a vacation and this is just in time. sometimes sanity is better then have a finished car........wait,.. is it possible to even have both?

My car isn't running yet, some sort of sensor issues but I don't have time to work on that before I leave, customer's car comes first. I will fix it at the track on Friday. Leaving in 27 hours and have about 50 hours worth of stuff to do. This won't be the first time I bring a non running car to a major event, probably not the last time either.

Do remember gentlemen, the GS is my ONLY car to drive to my job, school, or anywhere else I need to go.
Keeping this thing running well, and right takes precedence over leisure...unfortunately

I'm hoping to have the porting done, valves in, and heads mostly assembled before next weekend....but I think that's a bit far fetched

yup, I "NEED" my car to get me back and forth to work also, ONLY ride for right now. So it needds to be right before I get on the highway for 5=6 hours. It still is not right......yet.

Wish I could go, but don't really have the extra cash or time, and my trans has me worried enough not to take it on a 6 hour trip. But everyone have fun, and take lots of pics

itense made so much power its first pass in the white car it broke the craddle bolts. they showed off there new way crazier car that bob made. tim king ran low 12s with a few 11s. matt and tim showed up from zzp(no cars tho) met some of the HUM performance guys(upcoming smaller w-body vendor).
i think the new intense car made a 10.3.........they had issues with the UIM having a gapping hole.
chris yates won bracket again on sat., thats the first person to do it 3 years in a row.
people got drunk and had a good time.
voytec knocked himself off falling backwards into his tent drunk
not a huge 3800 FWD turnout.
hum had some nice l67 swaps into early 90s GP

that about sums it up. i left late sat night
