3800 Trouble Code P0420

Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

I just did my Front ported Manifold....would that cause the code...it came on the day after i put it on?? If not, what would cause that.

I also have a 3 inch downpipe with high flow cat.

That is your problem ~~

UNfortunately with hi-flo cats SOMETIMES it flows too well and throwns the PCM off.
Best bet is to have the code removed..spoofs just dont seem to cut it anymore.

I have had the hi flow cats and 3 inch downpipe since i bought the car, and have never thrown that code. Could the PEM's pushed it just passed it's limits and thrown the code??

Will the car be ok driving with that code on??
