i highly recommend a helmet.. you could bump your head and be :wacko: but it isnt necessary. . and make sure you carb up with lots of banannas or have bacon and eggs with lots of hash browns. bring water or gatorade too

Hey fellas I think I'm going to go buy a mountain bike but before I join in I have to condition myself first so I will join you all as soon as I can. On another note me and couple of friends are planning a trip to Wisconsin for some camping and white water rafting in August. To be more precise its August 4,5,6,and 7th. I'll have more details by Monday if anyone is interested.

BTW, if anyone is out towards Rockford, there are a few decent trials in Rock Cut State Park. I need to get back up to Kettle Moraine one of these days......

I'm not, I love the aluminum rims, but I just dislike the job my sister did on the rear one. (Long story short, my sister used the bike and now one of the rims is somewhat bent, I think)

Geez, I don't think I've been on a bike in the past 5.5 years since I've had my license. All this talk of trail riding sounds kinda fun. I might have to invest in a bike now. lol.

we go the same painful way everytime!....lol . . can you feel the burn?.. hehe . . and sorry if i mis-judged the distance.. i didnt know it was 14.5 miles and not twelve . i'll be riding at the same time on saturday and on sunday. so if anyone wants to ride they are more than welcome too.
