3800 ILGPC 2005 Mod/Race Day

Welp... I'd like to show up for both dates, but I'm not sure what my work schedule is going to be. I start 3rd shift tonight, so with any luck, we'll only be working 5 days a week durring the week of this event. If so, I'll work thursday night/friday morning, and have plenty of time to catch up on sleep and make it out to the mod day. IF we are working overtime, I'll have to work on friday night/saturday morning, so I'll be late in regards to making it to the mod day. Sunday at the track I could do, but would have to leave at probably 3pm so I can get some sleep before I gotta be back at work that night.

Did anybody post on how much us 41 is going to charge each of us? I dont really have any mods to do at the mod day, but I'd like to come by and meet everybody and be able to lend a helping hand when needed.

Speaking of spectators...

How many of you guys are bringing your lady friends along to the track? How many of them actually enjoy going?

I talked my g/f into going with me to Byron the last time that I went with a large group of people, and she didnt really have a good time because most of the other females were... uhhh... not really the friendliest. They didnt really attempt to talk to her at all or anything like that. If any of you guys have wives/fiances/girlfriends that like to go to the track, let me know. My girlfriend, Jess, would have a lot better time if she felt like she belonged with part of the group. lol

But then again, I already told her about the weekend of this mod/race day, and as far as she knows, I'm not going to be around. If there are going to be quite a few other girls there, I'd like to invite her to come along also.

There will be plenty of girls there that she car hang out with. Some of us are pretty normal, except for maybe Stacey, LMAO.....(J/K Stace!)

Oh and by the way guys we need to start a food list. This is coming up fast. I will be posting something up later today. So start thinkin about what you would like to bring on May 21st to the Mod Day.

Should make the food list a sticky on a separate thread. Easier to keep track of it. I'll take stock of what I have and post it.

I talked to my dent guy at work today and if enough people are interested he would swing by and take care of your dents and dingers. He does a real nice job and he is pretty reasonable. PM me if you're interested so I can get a rough count.

Also let me know if you want me to bring out the Bags.

I can only make the Mod Day that weekend, we have a Christning or something Sunday am.

With any luck I will have my stereo finished by then :blink:
