I'm going to buy this for $500, throw the mast in the lake and just motor it around. a mooring can at Monroe is about $1300 per season

Formula thunderbird interceptor 235
nothing too special about this other than it runs, I like how it looks, and it's cheap AF

28' Carver Mariner
this thing has been for sale the last two years now. finally at a decent price. pretty loaded too. likes this, a lot.

25' Cruisers Cuddy Cabin 454 engine
never knew cruisers made a boat like this. performance-esque. big block power and under $5k for a nice looking boat

Catalina 27 sailboat

I like this a lot....and it's a sailboat. Really thinking of doing an epic river cruise vacation all the way down to the gulf and something like this would be perfect. Inboard diesel that sips fuel, shallow draft. I'd probably want to spend less money though.

Do the loop in small legs at a time. Travel for a week every year, dry dock the boat where you finish. come back the next year and do more of it.

Thats a good deal. Buy it, Ill teach you to sail. 4' draft aint that shallow though. Autopilot is cool, i have no idea how they work though, would like to fuck with one and figure it out. If the sails are solid thats a great price for that boat, I kinda wanna buy it. lol

At the most basic level, it holds a degree heading, hydraulic pump modulates a cylinder back and forth to turn the rudder and keep the boat on that course. They get way way way more advanced than going straight though

got my storage plan finalized for the martinique... rustic harbor on the chain, fucking place has every big boat i have seen on the chain im pretty sure

seriously, looked like pulling into a lake michigan marina, the boats in the lot dwarfed my truck, my boat will be one of the smallest in there i think

$580 craned out, set on stands, and kept there til may 1st if i want. not bad at all.

Holy shit.

I didn't even know that place was back there. I never really ventured up Nipersink creek before. Thats a fucking deal. I know if you had your own trailer Fisk Lake Beach Camp Ground is $100 all winter. Outside obviously.

You won't crack a block in a few hours it needs to be cold for a prolonged period of time the engine compartment will hold the heat of the day, but like Kj said open the drains on the motor and exhaust and your good leave them cracked so if you do get some freezing of what's left in there it has a place to go

yeah it's weird to get to, on land, or water... on land, it's basically in the middle of a neighborhood, on water... it's down the creek quite a ways.

I didnt know that creek was deep.

My dad had a house in Spring Grove on Nipersink creek. I've always wanted to rip a waverunner from his house to the chain when it was high. Otherwise id see people on kayaks and canoes on it daily.
