I have no problem minding my own business. But it really annoys me that someone has to voice their opinion loud enough to piss people off. She knows what happens if she gets caught. Leave it at that.

Everywhere you look people voice there opinions. It's what makes the world turn bro. If you get mad at everyone that doesn't see it "your" way are you going to start a fight with them.

She also posted it in a public forum. That is asking for opinions. Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of a forum. If you don't want people commenting on something you post, dont post it and you won't hear opinions for or against your post.

Their is sharring an opinion, and there is the obnoxious opinion. One of them is not needed. One was expressed on this thread. Which one??

Based upon your opinion I presume? LOL It was meant to be INSIGHTFUL. Now our opinions differ so your not right and neither am I. Because they are opinions.

Sorry I would have thought more people would be against underage drinking and driving and underage drinking alone. Because it could perharps shine a poor light on the club as a whole.

I'm going to have to agree with fish on this one! I think BLK00GTP taking this a little more serious than necessary!! There is a reason cops do not sit in front of bars 24 hours a day and wait for people to leave. Just because your getting your degree in criminal justice and can't wait to start busting those 2 beer drinkers is great, but not every cop out there gives DUI's to someone who was out for a couple of drinks! Believe me! Stacey I would watch your rear view mirror for when BLK00GTP gets his star!!! ;)

There is discretion and thats what the cop used. The reason cops dont sit in front of bars is to give someone the benifit of doubt.

I only stated my experience and thought she was stupid for making the same mistake twice in one night.

Of course if your of age and pass the tests the cop can let you go if he believes your well enough to drive.

Please point out where i took it to far..
-stating my own personal experience
-not condoning underage drinking / underage drinking and driving
-stating it was immature and irresponsible for making the same stupid choice in the same night?

Please show me?

I want to get involved in DEA or Vice K-9. Im not looking to just bust people for DUI's. I'd prefer to work on busting people for violent crimes and drugs.

you guyz have strong opinions, glad my post could cause them to erupt!

lol

drinking and driving is wrong, plain and simple. Alcohol, causes slower response, no arguing that. If you only drink one or two, the effects may not be noticible, but they do exist.

Frankly, I understand she knew the consequences. But on the other hand, it isn't her, where my concern lies. It is the innocent, that are driving or walking, that could be affected by someone's poor judgement. One beer or twenty five, you are still intoxicated. More only makes it worse.

The great thing about this country, is you have a right to choose. If you want to drink and drive, it is up to you.

I love America, but will continue to hate people who get behind the wheel while drunk.

from what I understand, warnings stay on your record for 30 days, at least that is what I was told.

and, stacey, you should have went to jail, driving under the influance is nothing to brag about. I wouldn't want you driving, and killing my family, because you made a dumb choice. Cop was an idiot, sorry.

-fstgtp

Intoxicated could mean a beer and a shot being that I'd blow .02 and would be within legal limits, I wasn't "fucked up" if I was I wouldn't be driving and he wouldn't of "let me go" Common sense hello. I don't know how old you are, but I'm guessing by your comment you haven't drank one beer or two and driven..?? I wasn't bragging either, I was simply telling my story.

Stacey it does seem like you were bragging. It's even more ridiculous that you went back to the bar. Do you have any "Common Sense"? I think NOT! I think there is a reason the legal age is 21 because of maturity reasons...not that all 21 + people that drink are responsible thats besides the point. It just kinda bothers me that cops let people like you go.

I'm glad I got arrested for Zero Tolerance 3 years ago. I was pulled over for tinted windows not because I was driving irratic. The rest is history. (BAC .019 = less than 1/2 of a 12oz. beer) You know why? It taught me a valuable lesson. I didnt do it again. I even think twice about getting in the car and driving after 1-2 drinks. I had to bum rides everywhere because I was suspended for 3 months and it cost me a little over 3,000 in attorney fees. I had to inconvience my family, friends & Co-workers for my irresponsible actions. Maybe a night in jail would do you good.

I am currently finishing my Criminal Justice degree and when I become a police officer I wouldn't hesitate to lock your ass up! (yes you can become a police officer even with a misdemeanor arrest but not felonies) You or anyone else underage or intoxicated beyond the legal limit. It just sounds like your very immature and if you dont learn from this blessing your an idot. Dont Drink&Drive!!!!!!
GROW UP!

(P.S I've also lost a friend to a deadbeat drunk)

Give me a break. There are plenty of stupid people without common sense. You dont even need to be drunk to kill someones family in a car accident. Im not saying driving drunk is cool or smart, just saying that anything can happen. Now if you worry about driving after 1-2 drinks you are either:

a: weak
b: weak.

It takes alot more than that to get messed up and hinder your driving performance. You need to lay off and relax. Everyone makes unedjucated decisions. We dont need a speach.

You should also have practiced what you preach it sounds like.

This happened when I was 20. I didnt drink until i was 21. And after you spend 3k in fees you do worry because its on your record and if you get rolled the cop will give you a hard time. Actually any amount of boozes in your system will hinder your performance behind the wheel. Im not weak just wise. Im just glad most everyone condones underage drinking by sticking up for her. Very pathetic!

OMG, did you goto collage to think your superior to everyone or something?? I said everyone makes stupid mistakes. Im very glad that you forgot your teenage years to remember the stupid shit you have done. YOU sir need to lay off and worry about yourself.

LOL ok Fishy! No problem!
I dont think i am superior at all. She made the mistake once got caught..then the same night went back to the bar...and got caught again...com'n now wtf...
Then to advertise that she is winning these parties at these clubs all the time and always talking about getting drunk. Im sure its not the first time nor the last. Sounds like you should follow your own advice and mind your own business as well.
