3800 Wind noise? Probably a stupid question...

So, a question from a relative GP newbie here....

I have done a site search and found nothing.

Is my 2000 GTP coupe doomed to have wind noise in the cabin? I noticed it the day I bought it in November on the driver's side, and now I am noticing that there is wind noise coming from the passenger's side as well. I thought there was a leaf stuck under the hood overhang there maybe, because it sounds like a "ruffling" noise. Not loud, but annoying. I have found nothing visible to tell me it is anything other than wind noise from either the passenger mirror or the weatherstripping.

Any ideas as to how to eliminate this? All help greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Dave

Yes these cars have a lot of wind noise. I think it might be due to the fact that the mirrors are not to areodynamic and the hole in the center makes for alot of noise.

I once covered the hole with my hand and noticed the the car got quiter.. HMM

Maybe i am just insane?

Maybe your weatherstripping along your doors is getting dry/old.

I think you rub silicon grease on it to remoisturize it.

I could be wrong, but it some type of grease...havent dont it in like 4 years.

Or, get new weather stripping....thats an option.

Or, just get an exhaust and a smaller SC pulley and you wont hear that anymore. :) :p
