starts at 26,345 and thats a base model with no fog lights or anything... that model starts at 28,845. but thats still not the point. the kind of person i am, i would only buy the highest end model of a new car. i mean when i had my civic i had the SI, with my caddy i have the V, with my talon i had the turbo, with my lancer i had the evo... i would only buy a STI if i were to ever get an impreza. same with this car. id much rather get a top end model than a low end model of a more expensive car

The Sti doesn't come with fogs either. Regardless I just threw the wrx out there as something similarly priced (it's what came to mind first).


My opinion is this car is fugly. You like it. All opinion.

I sat in the Veloster Turbo at the auto show tonight and was impressed. It had a lot of room, seems well put together with nice materials and the start button on the dash and paddle shifters were pretty cool. It's now on my short list if I say at my current job for a while. The Dart is too but it was gay that you couldn't get in.

considering they have a hard time building a nice manual, i would be fearful of a DCT in that....Hyundai's first as well.

I saw a commercial for the new Veloster Turbo last night. The car just looks cool IMO. They still didn't say a price though. I know it's going to be in the low $20's. As much as I would like to get a brand new car with a 10year warranty, I think for that price I would get a slightly used WRX that still has a bunch of warranty left on it.

I too sat in it last night as well as was impressed, guy I work with has one, obviously not the turbo but his is a loaded sport with everything but I think navigation and it was 20k out the door, can imagine the base msrp on the turbo being much more.

Actually I forgot to add my only gripe just from sitting in the car, there is a really dumb placement of the door handle type thing near the window switches and for me my knee literally rests right against it... maybe if the car was a manual it would be no issue lol
