Car needs service and I don’t know exactly what it is. When I turn my wheel all the way to the left, as im rolling slowly it wobbles and then clunks. Almost like something hit the tire. When I drive forward it does not do it unless the wheel is turned completely to the side. What do you guys think it could be? Im thinking wheel bearings/hub but im unsure.

the ps hydraulic system will surge and pop the pressure relief valve when you go against the steering lock, the pressure rise and drop can smack the HP hose against the firewall if its not properly routed (there was a tsb on early W's about the HP hose)

dont turn the wheel all the way to the steering lock and you will no longer feel it.....it will do the same thing turning to the right lock unless the steering rack's spool valve is shot.

so just dont hold the wheel against the steering lock, just a bit before the lock is all you need

you'd notice a wheel hub/bearing while driving straight, not a very slow reverse. so i would rule that one out.

tire rubbing on anything when fully turned?

steering intermediate shaft popping? my dads monte carlo SS i just worked on yesterday, would make a slight pop/click felt in the wheel when fully turned to the right. guess the joints in the ISS go bad/get loose. sprayed some white lithium in there and good as new now.
