2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe

Posting this for a friend. He's the original owner and it's always been garage kept. Shouldn't need anything, brakes/tires/ect. are all in pretty good shape. Clear carfax, clean title in hand. It's at about 110k miles. Has all options, leather, bose sound, sunroof, heated seats, ect. There's a little bit of curb rash on one of the rims, but that's about the only known issue with the car. Asking price is $10,700 obo.

no offense but that car looks kinda beat up for a no snow/little rain type deal. Usually those kinda guys take better care of cars.

IMO, he needs to get it Professionally detailed, and take higher quality pics (and remove the wrecked front license plate).

I bet it would make a world of difference.

12k for a 111k mile car thats an 04? And never seen snow but still has that many miles...

I have an 04 with 110k miles and I drive the shit out of it year round to rack up that mileage....20k a year

My thoughts exactly, was expecting something alot cleaner.

 Yeah I recommended him taking it to PAF actually. As far as the miles vs. no winters I'm just taking his word on the winters, I didn't know him last winter to know if he was driving the car or not. He has a far ass commute to work so that could count for alot of it. Dasfinc thanks for the tip on the front plate, didn't even notice.

I've learned alot from buying/selling in the past... Low quality pics with a bent license plate like that usually hints to stuff like it being a commuter car *Train station's or parking lots*, or a city car.

I'd be terribly tempted if it wasn't for the miles, and being "Pull Me Over" Red.

On a side note, has it's timing belt/chain been serviced? I recall the early VQ's needing 60K and/or 120K maintenance's? Tune-Up etc?

Yeah the miles are driving some people away, but now that it's down to 10,7 obo hopefully someone will look past the miles. Tune-up and oil change are very recent, but I'm not sure about the timing belt. I'll check with him on that so I can put it in the ad if it's been replaced and let possible buyers know if it hasn't.

The VQ has a zero maintenance hydraulically tensioned timing chain setup. They always have. I had a 97 Maxima (VQ30DE) that I sold with over 140K miles on with zero motor issues at all. I know of plenty of VQs over 200K miles without touching the timing chain.
