Samsung 50 inch DLP TV - model HLM507W.
It broke a while ago and I always planned on fixing it, but just never got around to it. It's a nice TV with a great picture (when it was working) and I'd hate to just throw it out.
It has a brand new lamp with less than 100 hours on it. I also still have the old lamp.
The issue:
TV will not start. It turns on and has power, but the lamp usually never fires up. It will turn on, the lamp will fire and work fine about 15% of the time and will continue to operate just fine until you turn it off.
It could be a bad lamp or ballast, but I just haven't had the time to properly diagnose the issue. I originally thought it was the digital board, so I have a spare one of those too (fully working).
The parts in this TV are also compatible with the 43 inch version of this same TV.
