88 silver notchback/coupe 5.0 5spd many xtras Paxton Novi 1000

88 Ford Mustang coupe aka notchback original 5.0 5spd Mississippi car no rust anywhere whatsoever originally red but repainted silver doorjams and everything (gray interior), was told it had the hole for spotlight in a-pillar so assuming it was an SSP car not sure how i find out or if it really matters car does have manual windows and locks does have tilt steering and rear defrost no a/c engine is fresh with less than 2500mi on it and runs very very strong GT40P heads (ARP/FELPRO/TFS), COBRA intake, E-cam, new oilpump, pan, waterpump, PS pump rack & lines, plug/wires/cap/rotor, alumDS/Ujoints/clutch/flywheel/trans/4.10s, headers/offroadH/flows, interior/carpet/heatercore, cowl hood & '91+ fenders, 5lug conversion w/Bullitt wheels & brand new 245-45-17 tires also have complete low mileage Paxton Novi 1000 supercharger kit that I will include for $8k or 7k w/o blower [email protected]

looks better black..I wouldnt want a red or silver engine bay...

I'm not against the black or knocking the car, but not common being the car has fresh paint and motor. I do think it looks best body color, but that just my opinion.

FYI. I myself will be doing my engine bay black on my new toy. The reasons being, not going to pull motor, it is far to hard to match the color and far cheaper to prep and rattle can it myself. This may have been the case with this car as well.

Box2 nailed it on the head, would be pretty hideous to have a red engine bay on a silver car......paint it black that way if you ever want to paint it a different color you don't have to pull the motor to paint the engine bay just makes sense if you think about it!
