Oh man, I've wanted this car ever since I was little!! The Saleen S-315 is the car responsible for getting me into Mustangs!! Someday I will have an S-351!!! I only wish I had the cash now!

The car is actually mine - Erik threw it up here for me.

The car is not an "R" - they didn't start that designation until 1995. Although this Saleen is only 1 of 8 that came from Saleen with the Vortech on it. It also has the leather Recaros and the rollbar installed by Saleen. Only thing it is missing is the Alcon/Saleen brake upgrade and 10" rims - I have the brake kit - but isn't installed yet. I have no luck finding a good set of 10" rims.

Other details:

Car only has 10K miles (rear diff is even still black).
Motor was rebuilt due to common failure because the 94-95s had fuel problems (lack of from Saleen).
Motor was bored .030 over, balanced, added forged rods/pistons
Has Edelbrock aluminum heads that have been ported
Has original modified Cobra intake manifold that is extrude honed - installed by Saleen
New Tremec TKO
New Clutch
New Kuhmo MX tires
New 42lb FMS injectors
New Walbro 255lph intank fuel pump (also have Vortech TREX from Saleen)
New JMS switch chip
New billet aluminum pulleys
Reprogrammed Pro-M MAF sensor for 42lb inj.
Vortech 2.95 pulley

Also, I either polished, powdercoated, thermal coated, or chromed just about everything on the engine. Made the mistake of wanting to polish the intake and spiraled downhill from there.

Don't hesitate to ask any other questions - just selling because I would like to get into an 03-04 Cobra.

I haven't had a chance to get it dyno'd yet - got it back together just before the first snowfall. I bought a wideband O2 to verify the tune from JMS is good.

Jesus Christ is that a sexxy ride! If I had the extra money I would snap that thing up real quick. IMO Saleen S-351's are definately an ICON of Mustang history.
