241s are ls1 heads and 243s are ls6 heads. Stock 243s make gains on ls1 motors. Either way this will be better then stock 241s.

hmm idk what these go for and dont want to low ball. I know that if i get the heads ill need the push rods to. I still have to talk to my engine guy this weekend and if he doesnt have anything for me and there still available I just might have to jump. I eventually plan on throwing a turbo on my car after the ls conversion and these are WAY better then the stock truck heads lol

Better flowing heads overall. 243's are OK but these have been worked to be better flowing, etc. Get hold of the paperwork says and compare it, I guarantee it will be superior.

That's like saying a 305 block that was poked and stroked correctly to a 383 is a downgrade from a stock 350, doesn't much matter what they started as, because the end result is something greater than either of the first two alternatives.

depends on how well the 241s are worked over. i'd stick with the 243s and wait for a killer deal on some aftermarket castings (keep your eye on ls1tech classifieds...saw some momo worked afr 225s for 1300 or something ridiculous like that)
