I ended up buffing the entire thing getting all the oxidation off. My first time buffing gel coat and I only had foam pads.

She picked it up pretty quickly.

I used a porter cable with 5.5 inch pads on the entire boat lol. Took me a while and I burned up some pads

Lol no thanks. I just went to the lowest line I could go without having to lay down.

No. There were a couple of girls doing the interior of the Baja while I was buffing the exterior of the X-30.
I sure wish there was someone else there that had a buffer and knew how to use it. As I was covered in buffing compound after 8 hours the one day I jokingly said to the girl "Your turn now" and she laughed and came over a few minutes later and was like "teach me". So I let her do a 2x2 square and she did pretty good. I, on the other hand, am beat!


And I am sure if any of you guys go out on the Chain often you have seen this boat. He's literally out every single weekend all day and night wakeboarding.
