i got my grand prix laterals this week, tore them apart tonight. gunna clean them up, sand, primer and paint them sometime this week.

the bushings were a b*tch to get out. a lot of cuss words were said. lol
hoping to get them completely done later this week.

now that it has become much warmer, ive started working on the car much more. so far the entire front end of the car is torn apart and on jack stands. front bumper is off, hood is off, fenders are off, struts are off, tried getting control arms off but ran off of time.

then a huge thing that was holding me back was the fenders. the rust destroyed the bottom mount on the frame where the fender mounts. so much trial and error here, but i finally figured out a mount that works perfect.
going to have a rod coupler welded onto the frame and a bolt go through like so.
im getting the couplers welded on tomorrow, going to test fit everything then get everything off to the painter.

got a lot done today, thanks for it being 68 degrees out. . basically i test fitted everything today to make sure my certifit parts lines up. everything looks amazing.
i did change the mount i made for the fenders. instead of welding it, i drilled and tapped the frame and just screwed it in and secured it with some locking nuts.
it turned out to be very sturdy. tomorrow & thrusday ill get everything back off and drop it off at my painters and work some more on the suspension.

yeah, im going to cut out the really bad parts and grind off and seal the not so bad. thats pretty much all the rust the car has. i think thats good for a car thats been through 14 chicago winters. lol.
just to give everyone an update, the car has been back together for about 2 weeks.
put the coilovers on last week.
its running fine and handles great. only thing left to do it put the sway bars on and install the solid rear laterals. and a nice detail, wash, wax, buff... the whole nine yards.
