Since I have finally gotten the proper fuel system and my new ProEFI w/ Flex Fuel E85 system, I had to get to the track and see what kind of damage I could do (no pun inteded...keep reading).
Unfortunately, I was limited to a single run due to breaking an axle on the second run. I figured I'd still post up the results of the run I got since it's now my personal best.
Setup:
-Precision 6876 .68 a/r turbo
-XS Manifold
-SP 4" DP/MP
-Greddy 3-Row FMIC w/ 4-Row hot side piping
-Stock Lonblock and cams
-Precision 1200cc injectors
-Bosch 044 fuel pumps x2 (in-tank)
-ProEFI 128 w/ Flex Fuel E85 setup
-Hoosier 28x11.5x16 QTPs
-Tein Flex coilovers
-RPS Twin C/C Clutch
-ATS Carbonetic Diff
-Titan solid diff mounts
Tires:
I had the tires set at 15psi cold for the baseline. I measured them right after the run when I was in the pits and they were at 16.5psi. This was way too much as shown in the video. It instantly goes to redline, I pedal it, it redlines again, and then I go into 2nd.
Suspension:
You will also notice that the suspension unloads badly going into 2nd. I had the suspension at full soft (Front: 16, Rear: 16) which was way too soft. I normally run them near the middle with the rear slightly stiffer (Front: 8, Rear: 7). I am still playing with the suspension to get it dialed in.
ProEFI:
Unfortunately, I wasn't using the ProEFI's Traction control. I wanted to see how well I could get the car dialed in without it, and then let the Traction Control help out. Obviously I wasn't able to do that. I have a new axle on the way and will hopefully put down some better times. I am excited to see how well this helps out since I am not running a true "drag" slick.
The Anti-Lag is insane!! It is so much more consistent and literally reaches my target boost in half the time than when I was on my AEM v1. I can't wait to get more seat time.
