So Yeah went downtown.

So i went downtown to try and find a spot to have my car and see the skyline in the backround.. Yeah didnt happen im not to good with downtown. I found a good place on top of a parking garage but you have to pay and im not going to pay to take pics. Anyone have places they go/ knw of where there is good landscape?

Adler Planetarium...Just drive down that road that heads to the Planetarium and find a good spot.

Another good spot in the same area is close to Charter One pavillion...when heading towards the Planetarium make a right down the second road you can and just follow it as far as you can go. from that spot you have a good backdrop of soldier field and the city.

You can. It isnt exactly legal if you want a really good shot, but that hasnt stopped people before.

Their is plenty of parking over there, but i think the 'best' spot is at the end of the road in the turn around section. Left hand side on the sidewalk. If your their late its usually no problem to back the car up there and take a few shots.

I was down at that exact location last Tuesday. I think it would be possible. The turn around down there should have room to roll up on. I'd worry about security/police which seem to make regular rounds down there.
