Yeah. My RS and my ST always have a ton of dust on the back window. The vacuum wake behind the car sucks dirt and crap up where it settles on back-end.

Its a hatchback/wagon thing. Nothing you can do about it.

In the mornings as I drive away I can see the moisture from he exhaust fog up the rear window as I give it throttle.

Since there is condensation on the windows just about every morning now I actually keep a microfiber towel in the car and use it to wipe down the windows each morning. The back-hatch always has a ton of dust on it, so I do that one last.

My SVTF has the wiper deleted and I love how it looks but being a bit OCD it bothers me I can't use the wiper to clean it. Don't think I'd remove it on a new car though.

After driving both the DSG and manual yesterday I can say the 6-speed was more fun and very smooth. I think that'd be my choice even after reading that the clutch can't even really hold the power increase from just the APR stage 1 tune.

Ya. The clutch is what's keeping me from really doing anything. The car is great as it is. I'm in love with the interior.

Nice ride. I can understand having something you can drive & enjoy every day. Plus maybe you will road course or AutoX the car? There can still be fun to be had.

Pretty much yea, the rear is filthy all the time. I also use it to clear condensation at night instead of waiting for the defroster.

I'm confused at wanting a more reliable car and getting a VW.

Seriously though looks like a sharp car. I love the looks of them, but everyone I know that's had a VW has had nothing but problems with them. I hope yours treats you well.

I can relate to getting into something you actually drive more. Have thought about selling my Camaro due to lack of use.

Brand new car with warranty equals me not caring if it has problems.

My last one only had one problem. I had an injector die when I was 4 hours from home. It was covered under a recall and VW roadside assistance had me back on the road in a rental car they paid for within an hour of my call. Can't really complain.

I love you dearly, but that VW would get ruined by an Evo stock vs stock in any kind of handling contest.
