It should. Many don't. Especially the first time out. Some go 10's, some go 12's. My guess this guy is part of the latter.

Hell Id be running 12s in @1quicks car


I def need driver mod.

Got emails back from Shaun. I need to redo some of the 3rd gear runs. I need to get the 3rd gear to 5k then 2 min idle logs cleaned up.

Complete rookie mistake now that he asked me to redo them.

I had a habit of driving the car in sport mode and shifter in D. Well sport mode holds higher rpm and I couldnt get the car down below 2k in 3rd. Im sure thats why because I had it in Sport Mode.

Ill redo them leave it in normal mode and put shifter in S so I can hold 3rd and get it down below 2k rpm.



Derp. Its a learning curve here and even driving the car Ive upset the shifts by grabbing a paddle to early just as the CJ mani is starting to come in the RPM band.

Its hard to explain how different the CJ really feels but it sure is a blast screaming to almost 8k!

even you could run a 10 in my car lol, it went 10.9 on the biggest pulley I have after driving two and a half hours to the track last year no cool down just add ice and run

Its insanely addicting!

Did more datalogging last night hope this round works for AED.

3rd gear pulls easing into the throttle with the shifter in S and drive mode in normal makes it way easier

They dont show any knock and some pulls show 32 degrees of intake timing.

Got my FlexFuel tune from AED now.

Unfortunately I have guard dril this weekend friday saturday sunday in Fargo so I wont be able to swap the tunes and do more datalogging until sunday night and monday.


I plan on having logs sent back to AED by tuesday week.

Got a couple runs in tonight trolling around Fargo. Ive been looking for some 6th gen Camaros but didnt find any.

Ran 2 scat pack Chargers rolls from a light or 40 roll. The 1-2 shift comes so quick from a dig and 2-3 shift I checked out by about car and a half enough to see headlights in the rear view. Them big ass scats move especially from a roll.

1st one was orange and affter 3rd gear he was history.

2nd one was a purple scat brand new still had dealer tags on it. From a 40 roll if he got the jump on 3rd honk it was drivers race. From a dig not a chance same as orange car.

Thennnnnnn ran into a silver C6 Z06. Guy claimed it was Texas Speed Cam no idea what one he didnt say and viraam? intake on 325 nitto nt05s guy said it made about 530 to the wheels. From a 40 roll me in 2nd I could only get to his door in 3rd gear once 4th gear shift I was lookin at tail lights.

I stopped and talked to all 3 since it was a pretty big crowd that stopped after I ran the C6Z twice. Maybe 8 or 10 cars total.

Scats were fun to run and surprised me a little them heavy bitches move pretty fucking good from a 40 roll.

I was happy I at least didnt get gapped by the C6Z until the 4th gear shift he was checkin out.

Hell this setups been on for less than a week. And still havnt got it on the Flex Fuel tune and a full tank of E85 either.

I still got MAK Cat deletes to put in but Im worried itll be too loud and damn it these shitty little 255/19 Firehawk Indy500s aren't cutting it! Getting rubber in 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift is NO BUENO. Chirping is wheel spin I dont like that means its slow.

Damn it I really need to get the 3.73s in and MAK Cat deletes and Flex Tune in hope I can pickup what maybe 20-25hp with E85 and ditching the cats? Edit. I realize the 3.73s will make the wheel spin at shift worse double Guess I better man up with some 17s and Tire for the Ass at least before I spend more money on parts.

Anyways pretty decent way to spend a friday night!

All 3 people I run said that Roush exhaust and X pipe at just a cunt hair under 8K sounds pretty rowdy as the Orange Scat dude said. I bust out laughing because thats the exact word Ive been saying about it since the CJs been on too.

Thoughts? What surprised me the most was the C6Z run. Ill take that result still a lose though and I got more shit that needs to go on.

Put the cat deletes on and ditch the Rouch mufflers. It will be super loud. I love the JBA mufflers. They sound great and are cheaper than most kits out there.



Or buy the JBA headers and full 3" exhaust I have for sale in the classified section.

Skip the gears and buy pressure ratios 4c converter, it will be a completely different car, I picked up .5 seconds in the 1/4 with that being the only change, cat deletes will make a nice difference too

I know it needs a converter but Id like a 5k circle d 5c too.

The exhaust I think Ill do the MAK cat deletes and do small resonators since the MAK pipes are long enough before the X pipe.

Skip the converter and gears . You know you will do a power adder next year LOL . Ill hook you up on a nice VMP 2650 TVS at dealer cost

It would never hook on the street with both, Iíve never done gears everyone told me not to waste my time and I ended up happy with that decision after the converter

Does it just not make the power down low to get off the line like the 6r80ís? My 14 ran 12.4 spinning in stock tires and 12.4 dead hooking on et street proís once it had a converter it really woke up

It's just that I can't even get the rpm past 2k to launch. And it didn't really spin on stock tires.

I ran slower to the 1/8 than my 3v and went 0.5 faster in the 1/4

That’s the problem with the stock converter in the 6 speeds too, not enough stall to get into power, luckily with the blower it makes pretty decent tq at 2500rpm so I can get it off the line decent
