FINALLY after months of searching I found a truck that I will actually keep and not wonder " why did I buy this rusty shit box" aka my 2001 Ford F-150 last Fall.

She is a 2000 GMC Sierra SLT with all the fun loaded options. 115K with lots of recent service done, she will stay on my driveway apron until called upon. Rockers are hit by rust which suck and is all too typical, but I may actually pay a body shop to replace them, the truck is so damn clean other than the rocker, its worth it to me to pay the $$$ to make the truck truly near mint.

Plans for it are typical; tint the windows, leveling kit, aftermarket in dash stereo, and the rocker fix. Other than that, I am excited to have a strong truck with a really solid 5.3 to get me to point a to b. I am sure I will have questions and im glad a lot of you guys on this site have owned or own these series of trucks.

Heated leather seats were a HUGE plus for me

Nice truck . Some of the interior things that have gone bad on my yukon are the electric 4x4 switch on the left side . I think it was about $80 and I put it in myself.

And most of the individual light bulbs across the dash . One at a time , from the bulbs to the individual switches , to the radio buttons. Just the bulbs , switches still work.

None of lights in the actual instrument cluster have gone out yet though , which is good.
