Always had a soft spot for Challengers. Took one in Friday night that I just had to have. Fell in love with the car as soon as I drove it. Happy to finally own one, its not nearly as quick as the mustang but its a ton of fun to drive and super comfy.

Only mod I can tell the car has is a resonator delete. I don't plan to do anything crazy, just enjoy the car as it is. Probably tint the windows and do a tune.

I really would like to get a black one with no stripes someday, maybe throw a supercharger on it, depending on how well those things handle boost. Really do like these cars.

From what I've read the 5.7's can handle some decent power without being built (500whp seems to be the safe number). However if that's truly the plan it seems the 6.4 is the way to go, at least from what I've read. Granted, I've only started doing my homework 2 days ago and am new to these junk Dodges, so I could be wrong. lol.

I'll buy a used R/T for 24K, throw on a supercharger and tune for about $7K, maybe some $2K wheels and lower it, and pocket the extra 35 grand.

Congrats, love it! 500whp is wishful thinking without FI on a 5.7. H/C/I and your knocking on the door of 400whp. They are pretty expensive to mod. If you decide on a tune get a Diablo Predator or Trinity, stay away from the intune. Trinity is the way to go if you want to drop the coin. You can do an email tune relatively cheap, $250ish to wake it up a bit. PM me if you need contact info for the email tune. Otherwise Tim Barth could put it on the Dyno and tune it for a little bit more money

I was referring to FI with the 500whp statement lol. Yea I saw that 400whp seems to be the benchmark without FI. I appreciate the info on the tune, Ive been looking into it the past couple days.

The shaker package gives you the shaker intake system that comes thru the hood, along with the super track pack (suspension/tires/etc) and a bunch of interior/exterior cosmetic upgrades. Really just a special edition variant of the regular R/T. The superbee in that vid has the 6.1, mine has the baby 5.7L.
