My 2015 Sentra SR has been begging for some paint protection since I bought it in January, so today I finally did just that.
First started with a hand wash, before claying all panels to remove as much to all of the contaminants from the paint surface. After drying car off, I then proceeded with first step of paint correction with Wolfgangs Uber Compound 3.0. Upon completing that step I took Wolfgangs Finishing glaze 3.0 ( a finer polish ) to all panels to bring out a deeper shine. Once completed, I used a alcohol based solution to remove any grease and/or polish that was left behind.
Opti coat 2.0 is a polymer paint protection that is suppose to last for up to 10 years. It is said it is harder than paint and will resist swirling (not completely) and protect paint from bird drop etching and oxidation. It can be applied to many surfaces. I applied it today to panel surfaces and mirrors and headlights. My first time applying it and it applies a lot like the pinnacle paint protectant I have previously used but seems to dry faster so you have to do it in smaller sections and in a brightly lit shop so you can be sure to wipe away any high spots remaining after the self leveling is finished ( 5-15 minutes )
Anyway here is finished product
