My 2015 Sentra SR has been begging for some paint protection since I bought it in January, so today I finally did just that.

First started with a hand wash, before claying all panels to remove as much to all of the contaminants from the paint surface. After drying car off, I then proceeded with first step of paint correction with Wolfgangs Uber Compound 3.0. Upon completing that step I took Wolfgangs Finishing glaze 3.0 ( a finer polish ) to all panels to bring out a deeper shine. Once completed, I used a alcohol based solution to remove any grease and/or polish that was left behind.

Opti coat 2.0 is a polymer paint protection that is suppose to last for up to 10 years. It is said it is harder than paint and will resist swirling (not completely) and protect paint from bird drop etching and oxidation. It can be applied to many surfaces. I applied it today to panel surfaces and mirrors and headlights. My first time applying it and it applies a lot like the pinnacle paint protectant I have previously used but seems to dry faster so you have to do it in smaller sections and in a brightly lit shop so you can be sure to wipe away any high spots remaining after the self leveling is finished ( 5-15 minutes )
Anyway here is finished product

I love the wg sealant.

Looks like great results with their polishes.
Good to know

The car looks great

yeah i am very happy with their polishes. not oily, wipe up easily and are easy to work with. making pad choice the important step in the process. pick the right pad and work can be done with minimal effort. I bought the opt coat about a year ago. i can do quite a few cars with what they sent. I am looking forward to see how it stacks up to the pinnacle i have used previously.
Wolfgang sealants are still incredible bring out such a deep shine.

Thanks , still need to get wheels off the car this week and put some protectant on them too.

What pads did you use ? what machine ?

Griots dual action , with lake country 5.5" pads.

The uber compound was applied with a Orange color pad as car has never been corrected before, oxidation and scratched were deep.
The finishing glazed was applied with a less aggressive cyan color pad. Opti coat was applied via hand applicator.
