Some of you may have noticed I had put my car up for sale a couple months ago...while the car ran extremely well, I was just kind of getting bored with the NA setup (couldn't really go much faster naturally aspirated without spending A LOT more money). I got a few offers fairly close to what I wanted to get for the car, but I promised myself that if it didn't quickly sell for the number I wanted for it that I would just part the car out and do something different.
Quick rundown of the old setup...it was fairly basic but made quite a bit of power:
- BONE STOCK bottom end LS1 with 90k miles
- TFS 220 heads
- FAST 102
- custom cam
- E85 tune
- built 4L60 with SS4000
- 12 bolt with 4.10 gears, spool
- full bolt ons, etc
Made 485 rwhp
Quickest pass:
Car had a little more left it in it. It had trapped as high as 128.5 so it would have done 10.3 easily maybe even 10.2...not bad for some stock junk!
