My wife and I have a small collection of low buck cars...I have an album started but it looks like this is the place to put them! Our cars are all drivers, no trailer queens or garage queens. We have no concourse vehicles just what we can afford. We prefer to have multiple cars rather than one or two perfect ones...enjoy!

In order...
1929 Model A, was restored by my Grandfather in 1971 got it after he passed.
1958 Vette, My wife's Father restored it in 81-82 and she got is after he passed
1991 Mustang LX, was my Father's car from 16,275, bought it at 50,000 put a Paxton it at 110,000
1996 Impala SS, was my Father's from new, bought it not running at 245,000, now has 265,000
1999 2500 Suburban, 454 Dart heads, roller rockers, comp cam, 9.75 compression, has never seen snow.
1986 Olds Cutlass, lowest mileage car in our collection (37,125 ish), second owners
2003 Marauder, Bought from a family friend who passed due to cancer
1985 GMC S-15, 3/4 tube chassis, carbon fiber box, this was my first vehicle, I drove her this summer for the first time in 10 years...exactly how you see it!
1989 Vette, yes we have a gay plastic car, its even red! Prince is in the tape deck cued up as well! 89 was the first year for a 6 speed and she has one.

All of these cars were either inherited or purchased for less than $8500...the most expensive car we own is the Burban, she had a blown engine when we bought it so purchase price was low but the repair bill was high. The only one I actually went looking for was the S-15 when I was a kid. All of the others have somehow come to us.

marauder & imp ss. niiiiiice

Thanks, the Imp SS has had a hard life. She's got 265,000 on her and was driven thru the winters here in Mich. I wish we would have taken another Black and White pic this summer, we just got the Marauder this year. The cars in that pic are in order, 58 Vette, 91 5.0, 96 Imp SS, 99 Sub...then the 03 Marauder would fit perfect!

LOVE that Cutlass. Welcome to the site, awesome collection of cars. I like the backdrop(and car!) in the first picture. Are all those signs yours too?

Thanks, the Cutlass was a friend of a friend's car. Never seen snow, rained on twice! T-tops, all options except 442...we have the order form where he checked no on that option, it was a $1400 option and he could not make the payments back then.

The signs are my Uncle and his friends in Cincinnati. That is at a fairground for the annual "Pumpkin Run" in Oct. They move all of that stuff from their houses to the fair ground for the show each year. I am working on a collection of automobilia but as you know that stuff is BIG dollars! None of our stuff is restored or picture ready.

Very nice collection! :bigthumb:

What, no Mopars?

LOL, funny you bring this up. I have actually been thinking about that. The only issue is $$$. Mopars are huge dollars... as you can see our cars are from the 80's and 90's and there is a very limited number I would consider from Mopar...say maybe a Shelby Omni or Shelby Daytona, Dakota convertible... I am actually thinking about a 2009 or newer 300C SRT8 to go with our other Big Black rear wheel drives...

BTW, I love Ram Air cars...they are the only F bodies I like, especially BLACK! They look so mean!

Oh for sure. They didn't have much back then to get excited about. Can't go wrong with an SRT8.
