i like to read other members builds, so i htought i would share mine....

started out as as GTS with a procharger and a 347 when i got it. now it has a 408 with a carb swap.

the valve covers on here did not fit. they were hitting the master cyl...

so they came off...but got it in.

and put these on

spent some time doing paint and detail work...

Thanks! It past its first 12 miles with 0 issues. I just need to get the timing dialed in and it's done. And it needs a major bath!

did u have an issue with the valve cover hitting your alternator? i had that problem with those valve covers and had to throw the stockers back on!

Yeah those welded aluminum ones were way too tall. So I just went with the chrome stamps ford racing valve covers

Cool build and I love the SN-95's! That engine sounds real nice while idling. I vote for spray as well. I might know a guy who can do a badass direct port for it if ya want.

Im looking to get around 450 to the tires with this set up. Should be no prob. All internals are forged so I had nitrous in mind. I never used it tho so kind of nervous of it. A direct port with stainless lines would b killer!

shit i'd spray 150-200 to it without thinking twice...is it a 75 or older 351w block? i'd imagine it would make 450 without a problem, what's the compression?

Its a newer block. 96 and up. It has 10:5 comp.
