Anyone work at a Furniture Store or know someone who does?

I have an L shaped couch and one of the clips happend to break that connects 2 of the sections together. I called a few stores and no one wants to help me because i didnt buy the couch there. My only problem is that the couch is from italy, but i cant remember what store it was ordered from. If i cant find this clip, i have to pay $1,000 for one section to get replaced! PLEASE HELP

possibly. The peice that connects to the couch is plastic, and held in place by screws, the rod screws into the plastic peice. The plastic around the screws snapped off. What could i make it out of? ill see if i can get some pictures today or tomorrow.

I got a real good guy who can help...got a shop on the South Side Chicago thou...lemme know if you wanna me to dig up his number....Also the guy is cheap cause he has his shop in his basement......but does work on High end furniture from the Merchandise mart, Macys, Carson etc...
