Fridge repair (Jenn-Air made by Maytag)??

I have a rental property where the fridge went ka-put. Does anyone on this site specialize in fridge repair and work in the NW burbs? If so, please contact me. Looking to do something this week. Here are the specifics...


Jenn-Air (Made by Maytag)
Model No: JFC2087HRS S/N: 10703968GA

Replaced the Overload Relay w/Capacitor for the 2nd time. First time the
refrigerator functioned for 3 months, but not w/o intermittent times that
the unit/compressor failed to start 1st, 2nd, 3rd time. Buzzing sound was always
evident until the relay shut down.

Second replacement worked once, but then failed altogether to start again.

Best guess is that the compressor is history, but a tech should have a better clue.

If its just a rental property,I would consider just buying a used refrig...a new compressor will run $140-185 to you from Johnstone or Grainger...++++ someone to install it.just a thought man..
